Circle Toward Wholeness... soul and self... together as one.An educational organization developing innovative programming for inner peace. |
|
Welcome to Circle Toward Wholeness!Discovery is the secret of this work. Introducing your soul to the reality around you is the real magic of these programs. Imagine finding yourself in a setting so soothing that the noises around and within you subside. Imagine further that in the quiet you begin to recognize the whispers of your own inner guidance, that place of truth-telling within us that we sometimes call heart, soul or spirit. How do we define wholeness? Wholeness is the discovery that our soul/spirit, mind, emotion and body are most powerful living as one. In our experience, a place that honors the soul does not exclude any of the other faculties; instead each of them is transformed to a higher understanding. Your facilitators are skilled setting masters; they have the ability to create a peaceful yet focused space that allows one to hear the soul’s whispering words. Attend these programs to discover or renew your passion(s) for life, whether related to work, family or community. Participants from all walks of life will learn new skills in the experience of these circles. With everyone supporting each other, shy inner voices are heard and the courage to take the next step on your individual journey towards wholeness develops. Join us as we discover that both solitude and community contribute to our growth. Through active listening, reflection and sharing we will Circle Toward Wholeness together. |
"You have noticed
that everything an Indian does
is in a circle and that is because the
Power of the World always works in circles,
and everything tries to be round... Everything the
Power of the World does is done in a circle. The sky
is round, and I have heard that the earth is round like
a ball, and so are all the stars. The wind, in its greatest
power, whirls. Birds make their nests in circles, for theirs
is the same religion as ours. The sun comes forth and goes
down again in a circle. The moon does the same, and both
are round. Even the seasons form a great circle in their
changing. Our tepees were rounds like the nests of birds,
and these were always set in a circle. The nation's
hoop, a nest of many nests, where the Great Spirit
meant for us to hatch out children."
